Assist with configuration, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT Service Management system. Also assisting with and supporting the portals that enhance end-user capability and drive utilization of ITSM, as well as improving processes that lead to the successful delivery of IT services.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in configuration and development of customer solutions on the IT Service Management platform
Assist in development of custom applications on the IT Service Management platform
Assist with Development/Maintenance of customer facing portal(s) to enhance utilization
Assist with Implementing/Maintaining cross platform integrations
Assist with research/analysis of data to proactively identify improvements (Continuous Service Improvement)
Assist with process improvement using workflows, business rules, and capabilities
Assist with Design/Development/Maintenance of Service Catalog
Support the teams and business units to define efficiency needs and assist in taking vision from idea to roadmap and implementation
Assist with Discovering/Mapping current state and future state processes
Maintain and document all system configurations, logs and work instructions
Work with support teams across IT to identify root cause of ITSM system issues
Assist leadership to audit the activities of Incident, Service, Change, Problem, Major Incident, and Knowledge for compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
Participate in training and documentation targeting both IT staff, and end-users
Assist with performing process mapping of existing and new processes for review to identify potential challenge s
Assist with performing application maintenance/upgrade cycles in accordance with defined Change Management practices
Assist with operational/administrative activities as needed
Assist with planning and performing bi-annual platform upgrades
Assist with all testing efforts during update sets, and platform upgrades
Job Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree, preferred.
ITIL Foundations certification, required.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification, preferred.
Knowledge of the ITIL Framework and Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
Experience:
Prefer 1 year of successful ITSM and /or EPM software development experience, preferably with ServiceNow
JavaScript development experience
Industry related process design certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with SaaS and Cloud technologies, and integration practices
Strong familiarity with networking technologies
General understanding of database operations Familiarity with Active Directory
Familiarity with ServiceNow good practices
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to talk to and understand diverse audiences effectively, including C-level
Effective problem-solving, time, and project management skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite
