The Product Manager 2 role is a vital member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing key merchandising areas, including assortment planning, financial planning, product selection, ordering, and inventory placement. Our team supports a broad set of applications that power Nordstrom’s merchandising processes, allowing us to continue to offer the best customer choices that make Nordstrom a market leader. In this role, you will ensure we build the right tools and features for our business users. To accomplish this, you will plan the roadmap, prioritize the backlog, lead discovery, launch, measure, and communicate key results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.

A day in the life…

  • Gather business stakeholder feedback for new and existing merchandise capabilities
  • Leverage internal KPIs to identify new feature opportunities
  • Prioritize features and develop quarterly priorities and annual backlog
  • Partner with UX, Research, and Engineering on feature design
  • Guide engineering during feature development to ensure objectives are on track and proactively communicated to business stakeholders
  • Measure and monitor performance of features after launch

You own this if you have…

  • 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience with technology companies (e-commerce preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience defining, measuring, and analyzing processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Built cross-functional relationships with team members from areas such as Analytics, Engineering, and User Experience
  • Basic understanding of technology, and you know the software development process
  • Desire to leverage technology for solving complex problems and modernize one of the retail industry’s leading companies
  • Track record of delivering value to your customers

We are able to offer remote work consideration for qualified positions in all states in the US with the following exceptions: AR, MS, MT, NE, NH, ND, SD, VT, WV, and WY.


Pay Range Details:

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado: $99,000.00 - 153,500 annually

Nevada: $99,000.00 - 153,500 annually

New York: $99,000.00 - $172,500 annually
