The GDS group leads modeling and visualization research at the intersection of renewable energy deployment, geospatial technologies, big data science, and application development. Inside the GDS group, the OpenCarto and Visualization Analysis Design Research (OC-VADR) team operates in an agile environment and brings together Product Managers, UX/UI Designers and an experienced group of full-stack web developers and software architects to build custom web-based applications. The team designs, develops and deploys innovative applications and software to help solve real-world energy system problems.
