ART Leadership.You will have an opportunity to impact every part of the system - foster and cultivate your curiosity and iterate over solutions to be the very best you can be to deliver for our customers.Key Responsibilities:Leading the collection and documentation of user requirementsAnalyzing - designing and driving solutions for major components and featuresImplementing enterprise caliber web - mobile and backend solutionsEnsuring secure - high code quality across the entire teamInvestigating and resolving production management incidents - problems - and service requests.Enable and implement Application SecurityInterfacing with key stakeholders and business leadersWorking with cross-functional teams for deliveryMentoring Mid/Junior Software EngineersEssential Business Experience and TechnicalSkills:Required:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fieldFive plus years in full-stack software engineeringFamiliarity with OWASP and Application Security best practicesAbility to build - deliver and operate complex - cloud-based systems using Azure.Proficiency working in java frameworks such as Spring Boot.Proficiency with Microservices architecture and designing and implementing RESTful APIsProficiency with - at least - one web language such as JavaScript - TypescriptProficiency with various database technologies and solutions - including both SQL and NoSQLProficiency with modern web framework such as Node.js - React.Cross functional leadership: organize - motivate and lead those outside of the teamPreferred:Masters Degree in Computer Science or related fieldDev Ops practices for CI/CD - release management - and automation using Azure Dev OpsGit-based repositories such as Git Hub - Bitbucket or Azure ReposContainer-based development leveraging Docker and/or KubernetesMicrosoft Azure Services:Functions - Kubernetes - CosmosDB - Storage - App ServiceModern Identity and Access Management and general App Sec practicesExperience with Agile software development (like Scrum or Kanban)At Met Life - were leading the global transformation of an industry weve long defined.
