Job Description


Introduction:

The Senior Consultant will bridge the gap between the Customers business requirements and the application. The Consultant has competence to advise and guide the Customer, listen and dare to challenge in order to understand the Customers real needs and advise the Customer in their usage of their IFS Products. Engaged by the Customer or Partner as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specific area and offers their expertise to colleagues, Partners and the Customer.

The Senior Consultant enjoys the challenge of creating and communicating well thought-through practical solutions that form the basis for successful implementations, and ultimately lead to highly referenceable Customers and make the Customer more efficient and successful.

About the Role:

  • Ability to leading solution teams in global transformation projects.
  • Trusted to own Customer Business Value Streams
  • Confident presenting at all levels.
  • Key role in coaching / mentoring other consultants and building networks.
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting at an Executive level
  • Serve as an escalation point as required.
  • People outside our org do not know what Safeguarding is

Required Competence / Experience:

  • Essential - 10 years (or more) of experience in the Service Management domain.
  • Essential - Experience in leading the implementation of Field Service Solutions.
  • Knowledge of key industry drivers.
  • Ability to lead solutioning workshops e.g. presentation, organisational, and documentation skills
  • Good understanding of different solution implementation methodologies.
  • Passion for technology, service management and/or change management

Qualifications


Essential:


  • Bachelor or Masters degree in engineering, Business or IT (or equivalent education or experience).
  • Experience delivering Service Management projects in a relevant industry setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to lead scoping solution teams.
  • Trusted advisor, articulating and critically evaluating customer-specific business process maps.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Expert of data analysis and problem solving.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally where required. Up to 75% travel is typical for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Desirable:

  • Already operating as a Senior Application Consultant in Field Service.
  • Good understanding of complex scheduling problems.
  • Expert knowledge of IFS products
  • In-depth industry knowledge from target industries
  • Good network.
  • Second language.

  • This is NOT an IT Service Management role and relates to the Service Management industry (e.g. field service).
