To deliver this vision - the Enterprise Digital Services Organization is building a world-class Software Services product organization that is responsible for spearheading the vision - strategy of our future digital services opportunities and driving the roadmap of a comprehensive set of digital services.Position OverviewAs a Software Product Manager for Enterprise Digital Services Product Management - you will be responsible for leading the internal Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) platform used by thousands of HP's software engineers. You will apply your knowledge on Software Engineering - Agile methodologies - and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to improve the overall experience of developing software at HP. This is a global role where you will interact with multiple HP organizations and global functions. You'll be exposed to a diverse ecosystem of software products - from Firmware to Cloud-based solutions. You will organize the portfolio management and delivery process for the cross team solutions. You will provide leadership - coordination - influence - decision support and facilitation of the portfolio of solutions. This position will support the planning and execution of epics within the portfolio - working with extended product management team to analyze - redefine and monitor activities to ensure efficiency and delivery of goals. This position will work cross-functionally to develop success metrics - process efficiencies for both product management and extended teams. You will be responsible for helping us to achieve leading edge experiences for our internal and external customers. You will be responsible for designing - developing - and managing activities for a specific software product or group of products from product definition and planning through production - release - and end of life. This position translates user requirements into executable work items that the software engineering team can implement in the productResponsibilities Lead the portfolio planning process across product management team for a comprehensive portfolio of Enterprise Digital Solutions. Contribute to the creation and successful implementation of the digital services roadmap - including a scalable platform and experiences that will allow our customers to manage their portfolio of HP ecosystem products from deployment to sustaining to EOL transition management. Contribute to the creation of the new operating model for customer engagement: including how the team engages with customer organizations and defining the key success metrics. Add process rigor through establishing common product management processes to enable increased agility and speed of execution. Drive the ability for data driven decisions by creating tools and access to meaningful data that can be used to drive business insights - performance - and enhanced experiences. Strategically partners with stakeholders to understand needs and priorities. Translates complex market and stakeholder needs into product requirements and definitions. Provides thought leadership to stakeholders to guide feature development and prioritization. Translates user requirements into executable and workable feature items with the software engineering team. Provides guidance for junior team members on product management strategies. Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments. Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle.Knowledge & Skills Mastery of complex software systems. Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization - technical and non-technical audiences - to convey Software information and processes in a clear and concise fashion. Software development leadership experience - including demonstrated examples of management through influence and collaboration in a complex - multi-cultural global environment - building a culture of accountability. Expert team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others - ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex - ambiguous projects.Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence.
