This includes gathering and documenting requirements - building functional and technical... specifications - and overseeing build/test/deploy milestones to drive project delivery.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesIn this role - you will:- Leverage deep process/domain expertise and partners with Product Owner (PO) and technical development team - Influences key stakeholders in design and planning decisions.- Drives the development of products that are targeted at both technical & functional audience.- Combines the customer vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories. Works with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs.- Provides functional expertise for high impact software implementation projects in the Supplier Collaboration space.- Act as a liaison between functional sourcing teams and IT technical teams during project implementations in the Buy to Pay arena.- Leads functional design through business specific requirements gathering for each project assigned.- Coordination of team of onboarding resources to ensure proper supplier training and registration.- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends. best practices to improve products - processes - or services. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.Education Qualification- Bachelor's Degree in business or STEM (Science - Technology - Engineering - or Math) or related program- 5+ years of professional relevantexperience within IT program/product areas.Desired Characteristics:- Proven track record of setting targets - executing a plan - and delivering results.- Knowledge of Sourcing and functional processes involved in Buy to Pay and the electronic transactions that support them.- Ability to plan and provide structure and organization in a fast paced - changing environment.- Proactively identifies and resolves issues and makes recommendations for improvements to existing processes.- Share technical - procedural - and business knowledge with others.- Ability to work effectively across functions of the business - provide valuable expertise - and work collaboratively with various business teams - functional partners and technology leadership- Experience in customer engagement to facilitate requirements.- Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed.- Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required.- Manage project risks - scope changes - stakeholder communication and progress reporting throughout the life of the project.- Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations.- Hands on experience working with Oracle Application - SAP - and Ariba in the procurement and supplier collaboration areas are desirable.Additional InformationGE offers a great work environment - professional development - challenging careers - and competitive compensation.
