All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program) in Fort Worth, TX, is looking for world class talent in Software Design, Development, Engineering, and Testing to be a part of an Agile team that will carry on our 70+ year tradition making history in advanced aircraft development. This position is for an seasoned Software Engineer with strong team leadership skills to join the Integrated Tactical Mission Systems (ITMS) team on the C130-J program. The successful candidate will apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to design, develop, integrate, and test software products for the very elite Advanced Development Programs / Skunk Works organization. Candidate responsibilities will span the software development lifecycle, including requirements elicitation/generation, system and software design/implementation/integration and, ultimately, flight test. You will participate in all phases of our Agile Methodology-based Scrum processes. Responsibilities may also span the avionics services, to include ground station development as well as mission systems software technologies. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and integrated system simulations. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site Agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, ability to pivot quickly, a firm grasp of time-management, and stellar interpersonal skills. Candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational interactions. Additionally, candidate will interface often with our USAF-USSOCOM customer out of Eglin AFB to support development and advancement of the C130-J ITMS Project. As a result, moderate to high amounts of travel will be required with expected spikes during integration and flight test phases. The successful candidate will need to pass a security screening before interview. ***Must be a US Citizen.
