eBay Checkout Front-end team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join as a developer and thought leader. In the checkout front-end team we are always at the cutting edge of technology and delivery and go the extra mile to ensure complete customer experiences with minimal friction. The candidate is expected to be effective as an individual contributor - team player and a champion for... results and incremental improvement. In addition - the candidate will be expected to have an excellent grasp of designing and implementing frameworks and architectures based on internal and external standardsResponsibilities Build out the application stack on multiple devices and work directly with our business partners to research - develop and deploying next generation web applications on multiple technologies for high volume transaction environments. Be a subject matter expert in: Javascript - CSS - Node.JS and one of the popular JS libraries like React.JS. Incorporate quality and secure computing practices in every phase of software development life cycle. Communicate cross-functionally and work closely with the broader eBay teams ensuring partner engagement portfolio or work samples demonstrating coding skills.Requirements 3+ years of proven track record in developing mobile and desktop web applications on Node.JS using Javascript - CSS - HTML5. Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent work experience. Expertise in building secure - scalable web services. Doing so in JAVA - a plus! Experience building responsive and adaptive designed pages.
