Do you want to make a large impact in your next role? Join the First Health Network team, as the Senior Project Program Manager, you will support this specialty business by leading highly visible projects and initiatives driven by enterprise business needs. Your work will typically be tied to a key First Health or Aetna network product need (project management, business process management, implementation, etc.). As Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive change that will improve performance results and organizational effectiveness, or launch new product/service offerings.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage multiple workstreams and complex projects through to implementation, including setting strategic direction for workstream members and complex projects or programs (e.g., national in scope which may impact one or more segments, and typically run one-to-multiple years in duration with high financial implications).
  • Have full accountability for integrating all aspects of the project into a cohesive project plan that spans departments (i.e., network, operations, financial, IT, regulatory, marketing, etc.)
  • Create, document, organize and communicate project materials including charter, project plan, budget, status, open issues, dependencies, etc.
  • Utilize technology such as MS teams, sharepoint, etc. to coordinate project documentation and share information, along with PowerPoint, MS Project, etc. to communicate/report goals and results to senior leadership.
  • Collaboratively work across multiple functions and segments to obtain agreement from all stakeholders
  • As a business leader, influence all stakeholders to support key projects/programs to ensure positive outcomes that deliver on results.
  • Identify gaps in processes or organizations and engage team members in solutioning and innovating

To be successful, you will utilize your superb project management, strategy and analysis, communication, relationship building and organizational skills, as well as your expertise in the managed care or health insurance industry.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 158,300

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in program management, project management, business process management, or implementation
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the healthcare industry; payer or provider
  • Strategic or analytical experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in program or project management
  • Any combination of: experience working at First Health, Aetna or another Aetna/CVS business;
  • Commercial healthcare product development experience
  • Project management training/certification
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Visio

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
