In this role, you will partner with clients and multiple CoreLogic Business Units to implement the priorities of CoreLogic's Data Layer Team - an state-of-the-art Data services and platform team - to drive business outcomes for our clients.
- Coordinate and help manage the implementation of Data Team projects and initiatives, working with Database professionals from multiple platforms, as well as vendors, and multiple levels of Corelogic personnel.
- Provide status reports to the Sr. Leader, Data Layer, and executive management about the projects that the team is performing.
- Development of documentation surrounding Data Layer initiatives.
- Will present Data Layer initiatives to Change Management Boards and work with business leaders to gain approvals.
- Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Leader, Data Layer, or other executive management.
- Help maintain and groom a backlog of work for the team, and assigning tasks to the principal engineers and build/ops teams
- Communicating to dev teams for changes, maintenance windows, etc.
Experience leading project/product teams and helping to prioritize work items.
Proven ability to self-manage and drive results (organize, prioritize, time manage and focus).
Previous experience and success working various development models (scrum, agile, waterfall).
Excellent communication skills required to translate business needs into technical terms
Technically savvy, preferably with knowledge of enterprise-level database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc).
3-5 years of Product team leadership experience required.
Ability to influence decision making across wide a variety of roles and levels in the organization
Project management skills and/or training is preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience as a lead in the software development field.
