eMobility Product Manager

The eMobility Product Manager will be directly responsible for leading ConMet's electrification of transport product lines and developing new electric mobility products to help meet climate targets while providing new advanced solutions for our customers. About ConMet eMobility: ConMet eMobility was established in 2019 to address the needs and challenges of clean energy technology. ConMet launched eHub in 2022, the first commercial in-wheel motor used in trailers to provide zero emission refrigeration, the first of a roadmap of in-wheel solutions for the commercial vehicle industry. The growing team has years of experience in electrical engineering, system controls, battery science, and more. Essential tasks will include:

* New product development and launch, customer/user research, business case development, competitive intelligence, cross-functional team management, and global marketing launches.
* Lead product definition, requirements, and specification to fulfill customer needs. Build processes and organization around the product manager role to grow the activity to multiple product lines.
* Ensure customer data and reports and delivered with analysis and reviewed on a regular basis
* Ensure customer feedback collection and measurements of product success.
* Provide product line lifecycle, price and position analysis and recommendations to Directors of Product Development and Executive Leadership to maximize market share, profit, and revenue.
* Develop domestic and international competitive intelligence, track trends within the industry, as well as interact and coordinate with sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality.
* Manage projects at any given time and will plan and execute specific marketing plans and promotions for specific products/channels, as well as assist with sales support materials and ConMet's website.

Key Qualifications

* Five or more years of Product Management experience required; Relevant (2+ years) Electrification of transport Product Management experience preferred
* Engineering and Electrical system experience required; Preferably with automotive systems such as large format high voltage DC batteries, electronic control units, Electrical power distribution and protection, Driver controls and displays, Inverters, and/or Chargers DC/DC converters, EV charging
* Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields of study include Electrical Engineering, business and strategy or other related degree
