Role Summary

ConcertAI is looking for Senior Data Scientist with a passion for artificial intelligence and machine learning to help drive a new generation of AI and machine learning enabled services and products to impact clinical research. You will enjoy working with a highly talented and diverse team of Scientific Researchers, Statisticians, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists specializing in deep and machine learning, mathematics and statistics, and will have the opportunity to work with one of the richest data sets available to assist with clinical research.

You should have a diverse range of skills focusing on statistics/math, coding, machine learning and AI skills and some background in biology or medicine. You will be responsible for data exploration, analysis, development of machine learning methods and new approaches for clinical development applications in the oncology domain that powers the companys data operations, production analytics (AI/ML/DS) and products. You will collaborate with clinical data scientists, product and software engineers on prototypes and its productization. This role reports to the Senior Director, Advanced Analytics & Product Services.

Responsibilities

• Work with product, engineering, and internal data science teams to develop novel approaches and AI solutions to improve and accelerate clinical trial design and execution utilizing ConcertAIs RWD and technologies.
• Own analytic relationships with clients, providing clients with dedicated analytic data insights from descriptive statistics to advanced data science models.
• Engage closely with product engineer to understand the problem, develop specification, perform feasibility study and build end-to-end solutions for clinical trial specific questions using ConcertAIs RWD.
• Work closely with engineering team to provide AI solution ready for integration into enterprise grade software solutions.
• Design and develop cutting edge methodologies intended for publication and the advancement of healthcare.
• Access and communicate with internal stakeholders as needed to support client questions, including Data Science, Data Products, Data Curation and other relevant areas.

Requirements

• D. in a STEM field, with formal training in computer science, stats, bioengineering, data science, engineering, physics or math
• 2+ years of applied expertise in advanced data science and computational concepts and techniques, machine learning, statistical analysis, and stochastic optimization.
• Strong programming skills in one high-level language (Python, R)
• Hands-on experience with big data Cloud data warehouses, cluster computing, Spark
• Software development experience is a plus.
• Experience in life sciences and working with healthcare data (Electronic Health records, claims data) is a plus
• Strong communication, project management, and technical skills with an enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing high-growth environment.
