DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager with expertise in data and analytics to join our dynamic team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex data and analytics projects, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery within time and budget constraints. Proficiency in AWS Redshift, Google Cloud Platform Looker, and Tableau is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for data and analytics initiatives, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives, identifying key metrics and KPIs to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data and analytics projects.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design data models, data pipelines, and data visualization solutions using AWS Redshift, Google Cloud Platform Looker, and Tableau, ensuring scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, business analysts, and product managers, to understand their data and analytics needs, provide regular updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processes, tools, and technologies, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in data and analytics.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient allocation of funds and resources throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data and analytics projects, providing regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and develop training programs to enhance technical capabilities and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) as a Program Manager, leading complex data and analytics projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong expertise in AWS Redshift, Google Cloud Platform Looker, and Tableau, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization.
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices, with a focus on data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including resource management, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools for project management (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.
  • Certifications in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Tableau are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
