Job DescriptionSenior Data Analyst...The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for supporting Claritys Accelerate Member Engagement (AME) data strategy and execution. This will involve analysis of client data before - during and after AME experiments to ensure value - insights and data integrity are all established. This role will also collaborate with Product Owners and Reporting teams to propose and define data management and processing strategies that drive consistency and quality across initiatives. Further - analyzing the content of the data to extract key learnings and actionable business insights will be a central part of this role. Strategic thinking to support longer term meta-data analyses will also be expected. Contributing to product roadmap discussions and BI tool user-experience teams will also be opportunities for this role. The Senior Data Analyst will report to the Vice President of Data Analytics and will work closely with the office of Product Innovation.Essential Functions Derive insights and business-value-add stories from client data sets - interfacing with clients as needed. Lead the AME data processes - on both client-side and internally - establishing - implementing and documenting best practices for ongoing company usage. Drive both a technical data-integrity and a business-reasonableness/aptitude to data analyses. Provide mentoring and troubleshooting support for the Data Analysts in the investigation of client data processing. Work cross-functionally to ensure efficient and high-quality data mobility and translation into client value. Act in a leadership capacity between internal technology - product and maintenance/implementation teams. Educate and train the Data Analysts in the proper use of Clarity framework and provide feedback to the Client Experience Team on best-practice solutions to daily application inquires. Monitor the performance and effectiveness of direct reports Handles moderate to complex root cause analysis of business data issues and provides technical data guidance with a focus on problem resolution Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies and solutions for application stability Provide analysis - problem solving - technical support - and support coordination Prioritize and appropriately escalate issues to assure timely resolution Work independently and as part of a team Work in collaboration with account and application owners providing recommendations and driving decisions in response to client inquiries and emergency situations Use discretion to effect timely solution of problems in order to ensure client satisfaction - eliminate downtime - and prevent cost overruns. Collect detailed information to categorize requests in order to determine method of resolution Maintains application mapping and requirement documents and other design artifacts that define business data requirements and transformation rules.
