As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Risk Analytics Ecosystem (RAE) application, a proprietary tool used by the Leverage Finance investment management business. You will be responsible for serving in multiple capacities, including performing project management, business analysis and data quality responsibilities, while interacting with all necessary parties to provide coordination and implementation of work needed to support RAE. This role will act as a liaison between data, operations and technology teams and will manage communications with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management

Develop a detailed project plan and roadmap to monitor and track progress based upon deliverables; managing the full project life-cycle; including the initiation, planning, execution and closure
Identify, manage and clear roadblocks/risks to the original plan as necessary to ensure success
Keep the project on track and maintain an issues log
Prepare and present project status reports and issues to management and key stakeholders; proposing solutions when needed
Business Analyst

Collect, organize and analyze data, including ability to summarize findings, develop conclusions and provide recommendations
Obtain, interpret and assess end user needs; making recommendations about and guiding the implementation of new or re-designed business processes and procedures
Document artifacts (business and/or technical requirements) for related projects, ETL and report changes related to RAE
Data Quality

Identify data issues utilizing quality reports to perform exception management analysis
Utilize an issues log to track and manage data exceptions across various data domains and data sets impacting RAE
Document root cause analysis
Lead working calls with internal stakeholders to discuss, review and close out outstanding data issues
Triage exception management issues with internal/end users to determine severity
Manage stakeholder communications related to issues identified in RAE
General administrative support including setting up meetings, creating agendas and providing minutes

Required Skills:
At least 3 years of relevant experience serving in a project manager and or business analyst role
Ability to translate technical terms into business user language, and communicate with both business users and technology team members at multiple levels of the organization
Adequate level of technical background (system architecture and application design) to provide leadership to project teams and to be able to evaluate complex project risks and issues
Experience documenting business processes, data requirements, data flows, standard operating procedures and service level agreements
High attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills
Strong working knowledge of SQL
Data Warehouse experience
Star Schema
Must operate independently, use of critical thinking skills and good judgment

Preferred Skills:
Some or all of the following skills would be advantageous

Experience in the Investment Management industry
Experience with Portfolio Accounting, Pricing Master, Order Management, Trade Processing, and Bank Loan Systems: (Geneva, Paladyne, Bloomberg AIM, Wall Street Office)
Thorough knowledge of the bank loan market
Strong understanding of operational risks and controls
Knowledge and understanding of performance measurement and portfolio analytics
