OneMain is seeking a Product Owner to join the growing and entrepreneurial Credit Card team in our Charlotte, NC headquarters. BrightWay is a recent entrant into the credit card space, and we are looking to more than triple in size in the next year through targeted acquisition, while introducing a steady stream of enhancements to our highly rated native mobile. There are three core cross-functional teams to drive new customer acquisition, enhance existing customer experience, and create a new digital ecosystem to support collections efforts. The Product Owner would support one of these teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with the engineering, analytics, and design teams to define product requirements, and write stories/tickets to drive continuous delivery of new features and functionality
Lead working sessions with cross-functional team to develop requirements and track progress
Actively track and manage all aspects of product development including feasibility assessment, requirements grooming, process documentation, hypothesis validation, and testing
Ensure robust testing of all new features to ensure smooth and on-time launches
Communicate all new customer-facing enhancements to the operations team across OneMain
Essential Qualifications:
2-5 years of product management experience
Highly curious with experience and/or interest in learning Agile framework for product development
Able to properly scope, key milestones, objectives, and dependencies of a project, and/or willingness to learn
Strong communicator and/or confident communicating with diverse audiences
Able to think critically and independently
Bachelors degree required
Location: hybrid schedule, on-site in our Charlotte, NC office 2x/week
