Overview of PositionThe Payment Solutions business is seeking an Associate Product Manager to contribute to a portfolio of products that help scale modern payment capabilities across the U.S. healthcare system. The Associate Product Manager will work cross-functionally to identify product needs, define executable requirements, and, in partnership with engineering, deliver product features in support of the Payment Solutions product roadmap. This position combines the benefits of joining a fast-growing, agile team while leveraging Change Healthcares robust set of healthcare technology capabilities.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Outline new products or systems, define, clarify, and enforce requirements with engineering to create them

  • Compile high-level business needs for the project. The PO elicits requirements from internal and external clients across business units, third-party partners, and product stakeholders using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, and workflow analysis.

  • Work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are understood

  • Work with onshore and offshore development teams, prioritize engineering work between the existing product back log, new features and enhancements, and technical debt

  • Establish timeframe and expectations for delivery of commitments and track the project team by leading scrum activities, understanding and managing project risks, and proactively escalating issues to the team to enable predictive product delivery

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing activities for product development and enhancements to ensure the product meets the business requirements

    What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 1+ years of Product Management, and Project Management experience

  • Experience with Confluence, Aha, Jira

  • Experience with Agile development processes

    What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Payments or management consulting experience

  • Effective at prioritizing tasks, managing time and expectations, and attention to detail

  • Able to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate them to diverse stakeholders

  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared objectives

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

General office demands.

How much should I expect to travel?

Up to10%. Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
