In doing so - you will be responsible for identifying actionable insights - helping teams track their success metrics - and own the underlying data models. You will monitor business-focused KPIs and general business health - proactively flagging and investigating any irregularities to the broader team. This role is required to be onsite 3-4 days a week in Newark - NJ.If you love trying to unlock insights from complex datasets - please apply!Who You Are Hold a degree in quantitative disciplines. 4+ years of professional experience building dashboards - identifying metrics - and cleaning data. Comfortable cleaning large data sets and visualizing key actionable insights. A strong SQL programmer and proficient in python - with experience navigating and cleaning messy data at scale. Possess strong analytical & statistical data skills. Have experience presenting technical outputs or concepts to a non-technical audience. Able to balance competing priorities and set expectations with colleagues and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and organized - but able to see the big picture. Monitor business-focused KPIs and general business health - proactively flagging and investigating any irregularities.Required: Bachelors Degree 5+ years as a data engineer - analyst or scientistPreferred: Experience in a healthcare domain with EMR data - claims data or provider data Experience working in a high-growth - startup environment Comfort across a range of data analysis tools/languages such as Python or R Experience with DBT & Github Experience with metabase - looker Advanced GSuite userWhat Youll Get Hours: Full-Time Location: Hybrid in Newark - NJ Salary: Competitive with market and level of experience Benefits: Health - Dental - Disability and Life insurance - 401K
