You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity.This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives - but can also roll up your sleeves and get the job done.You leverage mental models and data-driven decision making - and can effectively communicate verbally - and in writing - with leaders of all levels.You have success in defining 3 to 5-year visions and delivering tactically to achieve the vision. As a leader on the team - you will take on product management opportunities with autonomy and high visibility.You will deliver recommendations to senior executives and drive alignment across levels - functions - and organizations.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop product vision and strategy by working backward from the customer and defining / driving overall product strategies and roadmaps. Communicating this vision to senior leadership for buy-in.Define customer and advertiser experience for self-service products and features.Develop product requirements and partnering with engineering - marketing - design - & sales to deliver them.Define the success metrics for features or services and track performance.Utilize metrics to deep-dive issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns.Define and execute project plans - assemble resources - and develop processes associated with product rollout and ongoing support.Manage products through initial launch and follow-on releases - identifying dependencies and clearing blockers.Write business cases and producing financial models for key strategic projects.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience managing - analyzing and communicating results to senior management 5+ years experience in program or project management or 3+ years of experience with an MBA Experience managing teams of 3 or more Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery 5+ years experience delivering cross functional projects or 3+ years of experience with an MBA Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization 5+ years of experience managing teams Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience defining and executing against program requirements2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery5+ years of technical product management - program management or engineering experienceBachelor's DegreeExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience owning roadmap strategy and definitionExperience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS4+ years of product management experience in digital advertisingMBA degreeBackground in managing advertising measurement products - specifically marketing mix models or matched market testingExperience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environmentExperience engaging and influencing senior executivesDemonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts - manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideasAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
