Come join us at AIT and see why our employees rank us among the best places to work.Position OverviewThe Power BI Developer will be responsible for the coordination - development - implementation - execution - and maintenance of the PowerBI environment(s) while remaining aligned with strategy - commitments - and goals of the organization. This role will serve all pillars of the business by developing and growing our analytical footprint through various solutions in the PowerBI ecosystem to improve the internal efficiency in management of our business and/or improve the salability of our services. You will also be responsible for developing and deploying new solutions and existing solutions while following industry best practices to produce consistent deliverables to the business.What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day Manage Existing corporate PowerBI dashboards and reports Develop and manage new PowerBI dashboards and reports Train staff and Clients on existing and newly developed PowerBI dashboards and reports Support all Data gateways and their associate connectors Collaboration between Ops - Clients & IT and taking part in business planning to identify areas of opportunity to implement new analytical solutions via PowerBI Undertake detailed project work - including the planning - development - presentation and implementation of current and future solutions developed Prepare & execute plans to conduct data model testing to ensure success and accuracy of the dashboards produced Generate documentation summarizing data validations - contexts and assumptions to best guide the consumers of the PowerBI dashboards for proper use Data analytics Identification - implementation - and Maintenance of PowerBI 3rd part tools and add-onsWhat We Look For In Teammates A team player who works well with others - being respectful to our teammates is a Core Value! Customer service focus - we serve a wide variety of customers - both internal and external - and building relationships is a part of our culture!Other Skills We Hope To See Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - Management Information Systems or Logistics At least 3 years' experience in 3PL - Contract Logistics - or Distribution Center environment 4+ years' experience developing with Power BI Power utilizing direct query - import and Live connections 4+ years' experience in SQL scripting 4+ years' experience in DAX-based data modeling Must be proficient in all methodologies of connecting to data (Direct query - Import and Live connections) Must be proficient in MDX - M Query and Power Query Microsoft's PL-300 certification is a plus Excellent knowledge of information technology and experience with software configuration - testing and information analysis Strong project management skills and has a history in project management Excellent communication skills Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills Fluently speak English - orally and writtenWhat AIT Can Offer You Growing company with a record year in performance that continues to scale!
