We have several upcoming needs for Senior Java Engineers, which we will start interviewing for between now and the new year in 2025 - please see details below if you are looking for work as a senior engineer and would like to be considered for multiple upcoming Eliassen Group positions in Texas

We will have upcoming needs for senior Java Engineers with the following skills:

* * * All roles will require: 10+ years of experience with Java/J2EE Development and one or more of the following! * * *

1. Recent experiences with modern Spring focused Development (Microservices, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, or even event driven architectures on Java versions 1.8+ (ideally 11/17 if possible)
2. Strong "fullstack skills" including either TypeScript to support modern Angular (Angular v14+) UI based applications, or equivalent skills with NodeJS development alongside equivalent SPA JavaScript libraries, frameworks, and toolings (VueJS/React/NGRX/AG Grid/RXJS/et cetera)
3. Recent experience on major serverless/cloud distributed systems, preferably with AWS utilizing Lambda, API Gateways, S3, EC2, and deployments in CICD environments, or equivalent experience in other major cloud platform with equivalent toolings (Azure/GCP)
4. Strong database skills, including SQL and RDBMS systems such as Oracle, and exposure to NoSQL technologies, or Graph Database system technologies
5. Recent experience with messaging/streaming technologies such as Kafka/AWS que/message technologies like SNS/SQS
6. Recent experience with API Development on the backend (REST/SOAP/XML/JSON) or with JavaScript API development or GraphQL in a microservices environment
7. Proficiency with both web services, and server-side/mid-tier/client-side languages
8. Experience with middleware technologies, ORM, Batch, and unit testing
9. Experience setting up computing strategy for automation testing (I.E. experience with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, Cypress, et cetera)
10. Experience performing data related development tasks (I.E. ETL work with Python, or PL-SQL/T-SQL database development, and/or reporting based development with Drools/other equivalent tools for business rule management systems)
